Flow forming, also known as 'rotary forged' is a specialized process that begins with a low pressure casting. This is then placed in a forging machine that spins at high velocity. The outer barrel of the wheel is then heated to a high temperature while steel rollers press against the rim forging the wheel outward to the desired width. The combination of heat, pressure and spinning create a wheel with strength similar to a forged wheel but without the high cost. The EX30 Flow Form Wheels are light weight to reduce un-sprung weight, allowing for maximum traction, performance and handling for your vehicle.
